Pethicks, Whitstone, Cornwall

In the 1841 census Richard Parsons is recorded as a farmer living at Pethicks Farm in Whitstone. Sometime after that he moved to Hill Cottage, Whitstone where at the time of the 1851 census he is recorded as a shoemaker.

In 2004, when the photograph opposite was taken Pethicks farm was known as Elmfield farm and used for Coarse Fishing.
