This is a photograph taken of a photograph which was in the possession of the late Ivan Payne. The original photo was sepia coloured and was printed on back "T. Bosworth, Portrait & Landscape Artist, Rugeley". Written on back is the caption "Ethel - 1 yr 9 month old".

The photograph shows Ann Trease, wearing a very ostentatious hat and standing with her daughter, Ethel, perched on a pillar alongside her. The photo must presumably have been taken when Ann was visiting her father in Rugeley.
