This is a copy of a photograph which was in the possession of the late Gordon (Bill) Trease. It shows the three daughters and can clearly be dated to 1879 by the ages of the children.

The handwriting on the back appears to match that of the photograph marked Mrs Clarke aged 80 years. It is therefore thought likely to be Ann's handwriting. The photograph also differs from others handed down in that it is immaculately kept. It is possibly a photograph sent by Ann to Will's wife Corrie. If so it indicates that Ann went to Dudley with Henry and confirms that their marriage breakup was after 1879. It may be the last photo that Ann had of the children whom she abandoned when she left the UK, and she may have taken several copies abroad with her.
