This is a sepia photograph 6.375" x 4.25" on 6.375" x 4.5" on a plain white card. On back written in ink is "Ivy Lawn, June/92."

In the background, is a two storey white house which has six identical casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor has five such windows and possibly a door under the third window from the left on the first floor. There are two dormer windows with curved tops in the roof at approximately one and two third centres. It is partially clad in Ivy which is quite thin and possibly not long planted. In front, there is a large gravelled area with a circular or oval border in the middle. To the left of this border standing on the gravel are two women, apparently servants - one is dressed in black with a white apron and the other appears in a light dress. Just behind them to the left is a lawn roller. In the right foreground standing on the lawn is a bearded stocky man (Henry?) wearing a bowler hat and a suit. The jacket is tight, cut with rounded edge and high collar. To his right is a woman wearing a hat who is shorter than him. To his left is a girl aged about 12? with a bow in her hair (Edith?). All three have croquet sticks in their hands.

This is a copy of a photograph which was in the possession of the late Gordon (Bill) Trease.

The reverse of the photo is shown below.
