Lucy J is almost certainly Lucy J ROFFE and was found by DEB of Rootschat in an awesome piece of detective work.
It is known that some time prior to 1891 Charles ROFFE lost his job in Brighton and returned to London. He had six daughters, the two eldest
could probably be of help to Charles and his wife, by looking after the two youngest and helping in the house - his wife being pregnant with
their seventh child at the time (Frederick born in Fulham). It would make sense and probably make it easier for the family if someone was
willing to take care of the two middle daughters for a short time. Thus neither Ethel or Lucy Jane were living at home on the 1891 census
but were being cared for by two friends of Charles who were both fellow coachmen.
