Edith & Frank?

This is a copy of a photograph which was in the possession of the late Gordon ("Bill") Trease. The original was a small unmarked photo.

The lady sitting in the foreground is Edith. It is surmised that the man behind is her husband, Francis Joseph Sullivan. If so, it is the only photograph found so far of Edith and her husband.

They appear to be sitting on the steps of a public building rather than a house. The person believed to be Frank is very smartly dressed in a suit and Edith is wearing a long dress. It is surmised that this photo may have been taken by a photographer outside the Los Angeles State Registry Office just after they married, but please note this is pure speculation rather than fact.
