Jack & Ethel Adams House - The Oaklands, Headcorn, Kent

Oaklands, Kent

Above is a copy of a photo which was in the possession of the late Gordon Trease and is the best of the three pictures shown here. The picture is in a framed mount embossed with the words "The Oaklands, Headcorn" top right, and "G. Pearson, 30 Vicarage Road, Hastings" bottom right.

The person in the centre of the photograph with three dogs is possibly Ethel. The dogs are certainly Ethel's.

Above is a copy of a photograph or postcard which was in the possession of the late Ivan Payne. It shows the house from the same angle as the previous picture but is taken further back from which it can be seen there is water, probably a pond or possibly a stream, to the front right of the property. In this picture two figures can be seen, possibly Ethel and Jack. Also the white dog is clearly visible and possibly one of the other dogs.

Above is a copy of another photograph or postcard which was in the possession of the late Ivan Payne. It shows the house from the other side.
