I William Traies of Crediton in the County of Devon Gentleman do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament as follows (that is to say) First I give to my son John Traies William Drake of Crediton aforesaid Miller and James Bucknell of the same Clock and Watch Maker their Executors Administrators and assigns the sum of Three hundred pounds ...

... one moiety thereof to my said son John Traies ...the other moiety thereof to such of the children of my late deceased son James Traies as shall then be living ...

... until my four grandchildren William Traies Elizabeth Traies Mary Traies Mellony Traies (the children of my said late deceased son James Traies) shall attain their respective ages following (that is to say) the said William Elizabeth and Mary the age of twenty four years and the said Mellony the age of twenty one years
... in case my said Grandson William Traies shall claim or become entitled to certain lands and hereditaments called the Globe Inn situate and lying at Dartmouth in the said County of Devon
