	NOTE: (from book on emigrant boats) On average the voyage from Ulster ports to Philadelphia took from sixty-four days in early spring to

A few well behaved SERVANTS will be taken... Belfast 10th May 1784 The Public are referred to the following Certificate of Captain Gillis's friendly behaviour to the Passengers during his last voyage to Philadelphia. WE the undernamed Persons who sailed from Belfast to Philadelphia on board the THREE BROTHERS, should think ourselves wanting both in gratitude to our worthy Captain [Mr JAMES GILLIS] as well as in regard to such of our friends and Countrymen who at any future period may Chuse [choose?] to visit America, were we to omit declaring in the most public manner the humane and friendly treatment we met with from that Gentleman during the whole of our passage.
