Research is currently on-going into all families known to be related and who already form part of the main family tree plus the families listed below who may be related:-

• Tree of the Treise family of Castle Milford
• Early Trease families of Stoke Climsland
• Tree of John and Flower Treise nee Maister who married in Stoke Climsland during 1642
• Tree of John and Philippa Treis nee Barnard who married in Stoke Climsland during 1683
• Tree of Richard and Elizabeth Treas nee Lobb who married in St. Ive during 1684
• Tree of Peter and Ann Trease nee Matthew who married at Jacobstow during 1771
• Tree of William and Grace Treays nee Govett who married in Wiveliscombe during 1778
• The TRAIES families of Crediton
• WIVELL family of Cornwall who may establish a link between the TRAIES families of Crediton and the TREASE families of Cornwall
