This branch covers the family of James Trease and Elizabeth Gynn to the first half of the last century. James was a blacksmith in Warbstow,
Cornwall. Three of his children emigrated to Australia, and one emigrated to North America. His youngest son, Richard, remained in Warbstow
to continue the family blacksmith business but his family died out in the male line. His son James trained as a carpenter and went to Camborne
and descendants of his bearing the Trease surname have continued living in the area.
